The timing is right. Sales of electric vehicles in the UK have accelerated and now account for a third of all new cars sold. Dealers are at the sharp end with consumers, dealing with all aspects of business from new and used EVs through to aftersales, finance, training, charging infrastructure. Part-ex values are critical.
There are legal implications for dealers and carmakers. Property also comes into play with changes to usage and investment in new equipment. OEMs are playing a huge part, launching a raft of new product with sales and training initiatives for their networks.
