Spotlight on Consumer Duty at the Motor Trader Retailing EXPO 2023

Consumer Duty is top of the agenda at the Motor Trader Retailing EXPO 2023, which takes place in Silverstone on 17 October.

John Hughes, CEO at Mann Island Finance (pictured), will shine the spotlight on Consumer Duty and its impact on dealers.

In his presentation and the panel session afterwards, he will look at how it was launched and its impact on car dealers. What are the initial key learnings since inception? What are the next steps? How can lenders continue to support the sector and dealers and consumers going forward?

The panel for this session will include Steve Rowe Group Sales Director Vertu Motors, Alan Carson Head of Strategic Partnerships, DSG Finance Group and Chris Ewart Business Oversight Manager Mann Island Finance.

Billed as the ultimate event for the car industry, the event is targeted at dealers with exclusive access to keynote speakers from big name companies, including Microsoft and Savills, Pendragon, Auto Trader and many more.

Sarah Armstrong Smith, chief security advisor with Microsoft will give a keynote presentation on cyber security for dealers.

Bobby Barfoot, senior surveyor with Savills Automotive will look at the requirements from dealers to meet regulatory and compliance requirements for dealerships and the road to Carbon Zero.

The event is free for dealers. Click here to book your place and for more information on the agenda, speakers and the event itself.
