Drive Motor Retail takes five Vauxhall Customer Satisfaction Awards

Drive Motor Retail has won five of the 22 Vauxhall Customer Excellence awards for 2023.

Its Bury St Edmunds, Stockton-on-Tees, Leamington Spa, Redcar, and Hartlepool sites were recognised by Vauxhall for their dedication to delivering a consistently first-class customer experience.

It said this is the eighth consecutive year that Drive have been awarded a Customer Excellence award, as well as still holding the accolade for European Dealer Group of the Year.

Joe Palmer, general manager at Drive Hartlepool said: ‘I am delighted that Drive continues to achieve recognition for our commitment to providing high levels of customer satisfaction. We are constantly striving to innovate and improve our services to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of customer service.’

Chris Shutt, general manager at Drive Stockton added: ‘Although customer service is at the heart of all our culture, training, and processes at Drive, delivering such exceptional levels of service ultimately comes down to our people. We look after our team, and in turn, they look after our customers.’

The Vauxhall Customer Excellence Award was awarded to 22 dealerships this year and is based on a combination of the best customer recommendations score, gathered from purchase and service satisfaction surveys. Drive proves consistent efforts to strive to hold these accolades since several of Drive Motor Retail’s UK sites have won the award in the past.

Rob Keenan, Drive’s joint managing director (pictured right with Stuart Harrison joint MD) said: ‘At Drive, we put a huge focus on delivering first-class customer experience and it is an area that we are constantly working with our teams to improve on. We’re extremely proud of the feedback we receive from our customers, with many loyal customers returning to our dealerships time and time again.

‘To receive this accolade from Vauxhall is a testament to the team’s hard work and commitment to doing what’s right by our customers. I’m extremely proud of our team and the fact that Drive has won 5 out of just 22 awards throughout the country is a fantastic achievement.’

Drive Motor Retail  has turnover of £300 million per annum, employing 700 members of staff at 16 dealerships.
