The Motor Trader Top 200 survey has revealed some of the top paying dealers in the UK.
Park Lane BMW tops the listing for 2019. The dealer group, rated 48 in the MT Top 200 Dealers by turnover topped the salary table as it did last year with an average wages or salaries of £48,905.
This is 61% higher than the weighted average for all MT Top 200 groups of £29,800.
There were 163 groups appearing in both the 2018 and 2019 MT Top 200 that have recent accounts, excluding estimates, and full details about pay and numbers employed.
On a weighted average basis across these 163 groups, average annual pay has increased from £29,424 to £29,816 or by 1.3%.
While the latest figure is above the national average for last year of £28,860 (source: ONS), the increase is well below the 3.3% for all jobs across the UK economy.
